Description

There's everything from an inventory, to looting, added merchant, high quality voice lines, PVE, environmental triggers, new zombies, AAA style 3d art, animation improvement, movement pace improvements, and much more.

This is a heavy update and a lot has been changed. Of course, most of this kit has unfinished systems so it's not really production-ready at the moment. What has been laid down is the foundation so this will require a few more iterations to marry all of the systems together.

5.7 itself has created some new bugs as well like multi-threading issues so I need to work those out as well.

 

New Features/Changes

  • Jog can be used as sprinting for tighter environments

  • Added "walk zone" system for force walking (mainly for tight interiors)

  • Added replication for PVP and Co-op

  • New additive character overlay for more realistic posture while armed

  • Improved weapon/aim shoulder switching

  • Zombies use active ragdolls for hit reactions

Fixed bugs:

  • Fixed sound attenuation for footsteps

  • Fixed sound concurrency for weapon firing sfx

  • Aim offset fixed for rifles (by now forcing walk)

  • Orient Rotation To Movement

  • Fixed bug where you can initiate a slide while jumping

  • Fixed shotgun shells not working

  • Framerate issue caused by sniper scope blueprint (temporary fix, system needs to be remade)

  • Camera distance mode notification/Scroll-Wheel Camera View Switcher

  • Fixed bug where you can switch weapons after death

  • Synty sniper scope issue

  • Fixed bug where AI can't aim up

  • Fixed fingers for Rifle overlay

  • Flashlight should be hidden when we're holding a rifle or shotgun. This remains because the only solution is weapon flashlights but I do not have an attachment system yet.

  • Looting & Random loot generation system
